Show Up Gallery.
A variable identity for a gallery that moves between temporary urban locations.

Project overview
Show Up Gallery was conceived as a mobile cultural platform in Prague, bringing artists, photographers and designers into temporary urban locations. The identity responds to that changing setting through a recognisable wordmark and a graphic device capable of shifting between applications.
Research into pop-up galleries and street signals informed a circle that can suggest an aperture, meeting point, locator or letterform. Integrated into the Show Up wordmark, it also moves into the surrounding composition. Changes in position, scale, texture and rhythm give the identity variable expressions around a consistent formal relationship.
Sketches, digital studies and animation explored the behaviour of the mark. Applications extend into posters, QR-led event information, flyers, stickers, social covers, bottle labels and small-format tags. A shared poster grid and typographic hierarchy provide a framework for different venues, artists, images and programme details.

Design highlights
- Variable mark
- A circular aperture forms part of the wordmark and moves through its surroundings, linking changes in position and scale to the gallery’s temporary locations.
- Poster hierarchy
- Vertical display typography and a structured poster grid organise imagery, programme details and QR information, giving changing event content a consistent typographic framework.
- Application design
- Circular formats, variable textures and contrasting colour combinations carry the identity into flyers, stickers, social covers and labels while retaining the wordmark’s central graphic device.
